Mr. MicTheSnare, just wanted to thank you for introducing me to so much new music over the last few years. It is actually insane to me how much you've been able to change how I genuinely enjoy music. In the crowded space of how music has been reviewed over the last decade or two, and definitely longer, your videos have made me look at music in a much less toxic lens. I saw The National at Boston Calling 2013, I was 11 years old but my dad brought me to the front row for the set and Matt jumped into the crowd on Terrible Love pretty much right on me, and that experience was what seriously got me into music and live shows.

I haven't listened to The National much so most of the songs referenced are new to me, but I was hit with instant recognition at 24:43 and couldn't place it until I remembered "I Need My Girl" was used in one of the most emotionally devastating moments of the Apple TV show "Shrinking" which is one of my favorite new shows of the past few years. Perfect song to soundtrack that scene, I'll have to check out the rest of their stuff
