Kirk Franklin's recent comments about the church having "too many rules" have sparked heated debates in the Christian community. Pastor Gino Jennings didn’t hold back, delivering a fiery rebuttal that underscores the importance of biblical principles and the role of rules in guiding our faith. Are rules in the church restrictive, or do they lead to a deeper relationship with God? In this video, we dive deep into this critical conversation, comparing Franklin’s perspective with Jennings' unapologetic defense of scripture. As a young person the greatest gift when pursuing the knowledge of Christ through the word, was people who were capable of teaching foundational principles of the Kingdom in an easy to understand manner. Not condescending either; encouraging our spiritual maturation and edification. (Ephesians 4:11, 12) . The taught us scriptural context.. And Not cherry picking verses without reading the entire text so as not to misappropriate the intended thought . I am forever grateful for my former elders and teachers - plural. They understood that we not intended to remain in on place and at one level. . . as “professional “ pastors tend to keep their flock eating baby food and stuck in one place listening to them forever just to keep the lights and maintain a brick and mortar edifice until they die. What a tragedy and misguided purpose of ministry. The only star is Jesus not loud mouth little thuggish men with limited scriptural knowledge. Lord deliver us from this mess. Amen

As a young person (a very long time ago) the greatest gift while in pursuit of the knowledge of Christ - through his word, was people who were capable of teaching foundational principles of the Kingdom of God in an easy to understand manner. Not condescending either; but encouraging our spiritual maturation and edification. (Ephesians 4:11, 12) . They taught us scriptural context.. Discouraging us from cherry picking verses without reading the entire text, so as not to misappropriate the intended thought . I am forever grateful for my former elders and teachers - yes plural. They understood that we were not intended to remain in on place and at one level. . . as some “professional “ pastors tend to keep their flock eating baby food and stuck in one place listening to them forever just to keep the lights, and to maintain brick and mortar edifices until they die. That is NOT the purpose of ministry and discipleship. What a tragedy. The only star is Jesus not loud mouth little thuggish men with limited scriptural knowledge. Lord deliver us from this mess. Amen

Please give me a break. The primary function of ministry is to make disciples of men and (yes) women. To achieve that goal one must understand the purpose of salvation, and the foundational principles of the Kingdom of God - what it is, what it is not and how it functions in the earth and our responsibility as kingdom citizens - whether in active ministry or not. Faith worketh by love. .. that’s the fundamental part After one submits to the criteria of salvation according to : re
Acts 2:38-42.
I doubt most of these people in this assembly understands the “WHY” Jesus came into the world as a man anointed in the vessel of a virgin reason and WHY Jesus refers to Himself as the Son of Man (St John 5:27) as it relates to Genesis 1:28. I have listened to this man from time to time - as much as I can tolerate his counterproductive preaching method, and limited scriptural knowledge. I’m just an average retiree who happens to study scripture daily, because I love the Lord and His Word, This is my life. .. not for profit, attention, or acceptance of others. I don’t discern this with Mr Jennings.

In order to be righteous you must follow GOD’s rules anything else is you bending the rules and that makes you wrong and that’s why the world is so messed up today because we allowed people to just keep bending the rules .
