The PVA bag is nothing new but it is very much a popular tactic right now and I needed to get out and give it another go!
PVA mesh is a fantastic way to deliver bait accurately into the swim and better still you can feed hard pellets which as we know the fish absolutely LOVE!

ENJOY :)

One of the best things about you Joe is not that your a very good fisherman but you're also a top lad. Humble and well meaning to all.

I was going bonkers how you forgot to show how you attach the bag to the rig.... But you finally show at the end of the video. Thanks

Nice to see you showcasing this method. We have been using this for about a month or so and the results are pretty good. I like that you have 2 sizes of TBags which gives you options. Cheers Joe. Nice one.

You can also drill a Method Feeder and install some pole elastic loops. You can then put the bag under the elastic loops before casting out. It’s slightly neater when casting distances. Worth a play in the garage building a couple of method feeders for the “tea bag”. You do need a couple of spare feeders as they need drying off before you insert the bag.

Great video once again Joe and something I’ve been thinking about doing as a local venue has been taken apart by it. I was under the impression it was a lot more technical 🤪 nice and simple really 👌

I was using PVA bags last Winter on the Trap in Buckley North Wales, Which is an old clay pit, And one of the lines, I was fishing was in 30ft of water, I can't think of a better method for delivering pellets in that depths of water, I purchase two types of PVA mesh the ESP and the Guru speed mesh, I tested both of them at home, and i found the ESP was breaking down quicker than the guru, it took the ESP just under a minute to break down and the guru was over a minute, Which gave me confidents that they wouldn't break up on the way down, But when I tested them on the bank on a very cold day, I threw some bags in the margins in six foot of clear water, And i found the ESP took 7 minutes to break down and the Guru took 11 minutes to break down, I was on 10 minutes cast so I altered that to 20 minutes, The other thing I do, I use 4mm and 2mm pellets I put the 4mm in first and then the 2mm and I found the ESP to be better because the meshes a lot Finer, The other thing I have found helpful is using the plastic handle off a small yellow paint brush to pull the knots down this makes really tight bags, I find your videos really helpful can interesting especially the Boddington, Many Thanks Joe, Richie.

Joe if preparing the hook links before attaching to the rod, use a baiting needle through the bag and pull it to the hook more secure and casts easier.

Another good tip is to have the flask in one hand and the cup in the other, that often gets a bite.😊

thankyou, i had no idea how easy it is to set up. i see the carp guys complicated rigs and thought this would be the same. but, no! thankyou Joe, next time im out ill try this for the day. seems a more subtle approach than the hybrid feeder. thanks mate. also. does this work well in the summer. or does the pva melt before hitting the deck. especially in 10ft of water for example. again, big thanyou!

I've still got one of those mesh tube systems from the last time I went carping, and some solid bags, will have to see if any of it's still useable after sitting in an airtight tub in the garage for so long, should be alright after 20-odd years I reckon. 😂😂

Nice to see a rod in your hand instead of a pole .

Hi. Bit of info please, only been coarse fishing using method feeder. I am keen to have a go with these mesh bags. How long does it take for these bags to break up in a lake . Also i have got a bag of particles which are too wet to use on method feeder so could you use these in a mesh bag. Thanks

Having never used a PVA bag before, does it not melt if soaking in the bait booster? I can definitely see the benefits to this in colder weather. Small amount of bait in a tight area. Going to give it a go! Cheers.
