In this clip, Scar Lip talked about the incident between her and her brother which led to him violently punching her in the face. It was this incident which led to the scar she bears today, hence the name Scar Lip. She also recounted her experience in foster care following the altercation with her brother and how she began writing most of her raps while bouncing around different foster homes.

Hearing her story made me remember how my family made my brother believe I stole his money. He came in my room going through my clothes & I was tryna stop him, he punched me in my mouth I had to get stitches inside my mouth. Typing this brings back so much hurt. He apologized but it made me realize how people really think of you .
