There’s a big difference between remorse and repentance. Remorse says, “I broke God’s law.” But repentance says, “I broke God’s heart.” 💔 When we sin—even in private—God is offended, and the Holy Spirit is grieved.

True repentance isn’t about trying harder; it’s about turning back to God with a heart that is truly broken over what breaks His. Will you choose repentance today? 🙏

That is creating your own definitions for words, which I think is worse than the typical...
using the English meaning of a word.

We should move onto how the bible defines things, least we deceive ourselves.

Remorse is regretting doing something, typically a very strong feeling

Repentance is turning around or changing ones mind.

Why did Jesus die on the cross for us, what is the root sin?

"All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all."

Biblically to repent is to turn from our way to Gods way. Biblical repentance is very specific. It is not just to turn from a specific sin such as I will stop committing "..." sin. It is getting to the root of the sin to begin with and recognizing the reason I sinned is I was in the flesh, not the spirit(walking under Gods leading and governance in full submission to him), I went my own way and this sin came about due to my rebellion.

"Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death."

God is the source of all good, every good thing we have ever done is birthed from God, and we turn back in repentance in yielding, in submission, in faith to God.
