Wow, it's a great idea,
Because we all want the extra copy of our drawings, In case we want to gift someone and yes it's also good to keep a second copy, so that, if we unfortunately lose one, we won't have to regret 😊
Thanks for your tips,
Have a good day 🌱

Love how you’re always so careful, organised and patient whenever you’re doing anything. Truly, it is therapeutic. You’re the art professor I always wish I had. But thanks to YouTube, now I do 😊❤

I don't use it often as I prefer to draw directly on my watercolor paper, but I do have a light pad. I highly recommend that instead of doing this all the time, I had to do this in art class and I hated it. Lightpads are much nicer, and if you can't afford a light pad you can tape your original to a window and tape your water color paper on top then trace.

I like to use a colored pencil when doing the transfer so I can see where I've already gone over.

Yknow I watched this and didn't think much of it, but as soon as I clicked off I remembered my habit of drawing on lined paper and spending 3 hours editing out the lines in procreate... and the two drawings I currently have sitting on lined paper ^_^ I think I'll try this out instead lol

I thought every artist knows it but I'm surprised now that there's a lot of people :0

THANK YOU! I have been doing art for years. And have never been able to figure this out. The videos I've watched have just always been too long or slightly too complicated in the wrong ways. I could never master how they did it.😅 I do love that content creators have tried to show me. This is the only video I've seen. That makes sense though.😅😊

Make sure its GRAPHITE paper & Not carbon paper if u want to be able to soften the lines. Carbon is darker & stays put.

Is there a reason you don't transfer by tracing the original? Is the paper too thick?

Could I give you a tip on how to tras work. If you put your work on a glass or light color tray and put a light underneath it, it shines thew both pieces of paper

If you take an ad marker zero blender and go over it on thin parchment, it transfers. No other steps as long as the image is pencil or a photocopy.
