The title had me thinking you were going to steer folks to the S24U, but i was mistaken. It's no competition for me, I'm jumping ship from samsung after 12 years. OnePlus is focused on what's really important. The IR blaster is just icing on the cake too.

Me and my wife got the s24 ultra two days ago. Great phone. I am coming from the fold 4 and my wife s20 plus. (Got 1k trade in for our old s20 plus and s20 fe, plus a free memory upgrade and 150 BB gift card per phone).

Hi, I have a question not related to the video. I want to buy a Mac Mini Pro base model with 16 Gb of ram. Many YouTubers say the 16 GB is enough for video editing. On my 5k iMac from late 2015 I have 32 Gb of memory and I regularly use between 20 and 28 Gb of it. So the unified memory seems to be more efficient, but will 16 GB be enough or should I go for the Mac Studio base model?

On paper yes the OnePlus 12 definitely seems to win but you didn't even go into the AI features of the S24 and the fact it comes with a stylis which some people might find useful. There's definitely some room in there to justify the price. Maybe not full price but if you can get the S24 with a trade in offer and get some money off I'd definitely go with it instead. I'm coming from the OnePlus 7 Pro and yes while this phone definitely charges slower, I don't even find it an issue because I hardly ever have to charge it. The battery optimization on the S24 is insanely good. That being said I have not tested a OnePlus 12 but with my OnePlus 7 Pro I found myself constantly having to charge it... possibly due to a degrading battery. Both are great phones. Nothing bad to say about OnePlus. They are a great company, extremely innovative for the price. I think I just missed my old Note. It was time to come back to samsung for a little bit. That and I just like the way to S24 looks... that camera on the OnePlus is kinda ridiculous looking imo..
