The performance is based on Yannis Soldatos' book "When Pazolini met the boy who offered him death" and on documentary records, texts and interviews by Pazolini himself.
On November 2, 1975, a group of children who went to play football in the area of Ostia, where the working quarters of Rome were located, discovered the mangled body of Pier Paolo Pazolini.
An important intellectual, writer, filmmaker, political activist, pays with his own life the right to speak clearly and to tell the truth. Conspiracy rumors spread quickly: Who killed Pazolini? A young boy, Pino Pelosi, confesses and is sent to prison, but Italy knows that this assassination is a political one. Years later, Pelosi comes out of prison and finally reveals the death conditions of the great artist, but the question remains unanswered: who armed the killers' arms?
Starting from the moment of his death, while an inspector is at the scene of the crime picking up the pieces of a dead body, Pierre Paulo Pazolini in his own "purgatory" confesses his life since his childhood, his political position, his relationship with art and poetry; he searches for the faces that left their mark on him, confesses the contradictions that tortured him, and leads the spectator to discover the truth by putting together the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle that is still looking to be solved
