People need to change their mindset and stop thinking there is a “ruling elite”. There are just people that WE elect as our representatives not our rulers. If people don’t represent your views take your vote serious and don’t vote for a member or party based on past loyalties. It’s that apathetic attitude that makes our 2 major parties too comfortable and think it’s their right or their turn to rule. Look at the UK with their “ruling elite” going against the will of the people on Brexit. Demand accountability from our government and it happens at the ballot box.
