10 years to the week that Argyle were saved from the brink of extinction, a sold-out Home Park roared the Pilgrims on to a record-breaking victory over Ipswich Town.

Visiting defender George Edmundson’s 14th minute opener momentarily silenced a 16,000+ crowd at the Theatre of Greens, but Argyle showed strength in adversity to secure an outstanding win.

Home-grown talent Luke Jephcott levelled matters on 44 minutes, adding another impressive accolade to his growing collection by netting the club’s 6000th Football League goal, before Conor Grant’s 50th-minute strike took Ryan Lowe’s side to 15 games unbeaten at the top of Sky Bet League One.
