i wish hautelemode would do like a 2 min breakdown on some brands and their aesthetics, sometimes when he says "it doesnt fit with the brand" im like yes! absolutely! ... what was this house's brand again? rofl or even better he could make a video like "how to identify a brand's aesthetic"

the pheobe philo era at celine has always had some of my favorite pieces, such as the trapeze bag. the clean masculine construction has always been a favorite of mine

I appreciate when designers make actually wearable and flattering clothes

Tbh it’s like a set of pretty decent basics that u could pair and accessorise in a couple different ways, so.. yes. If I could afford it lmao

Yep I'd wear all of it. In my opinion, Phoebe Philo's era at Celine is yet to be surpassed. This collection is what, 10 years old? Still very wearable! X

I could legit wear all these pieces, the silhouettes are so simple yet unique.

A lot of that looks very wearable. It's not jaw dropping or anything but it's flattering and practical and won't be outdated in a year.

Yes I would, these are beautiful basics and I would be able to accessorise them in any different ways to create unique beautiful outfits

Edit: I'm not a guy. I'm a girl. My profile pic is of a male celeb. Lmao

I’d wear it if I could afford it. Good basics can always be made more interesting with accessories.

The collection is deceptive. It looks simple but the workmanship and the fabrics are insane. We launched The first PP Céline collection when I was at Barneys and it was a nice continuation of her Resort 2009-2010 collection which she started with concentrating on the wardrobe of what her and her design team wanted to wear. My friend still has that black dress in the video and it is still relevant today . There are subtle nods to her final collection from Chloé ( spring 2006 ) where she cleaned up the look and a bit of early Helmut Lang [around mid 90s]. It was a smart move cause this simplicity led her down some interesting and creative roads in future collection( Spring 2011 artisan collection, Fall 2012 brutalist collection, and spring 2014 expressionist art collection. )

I'd wear them. They look like great taylored clothes that can be styled up or down. Made more youthfull or distinguished.

I love the tailored pants and the striped dress near the end. I feel like Celine does really good basics like beautifully tailored coat, pants, blazer. Even tho I prefer maximalist styling like Alessandro Michele for Gucci and the drama of like mid 2000s McQueen, I feel like I would not regret purchasing basics from Celine to style in my own fashion

I would definitely wear all of this collection paired with beautiful accessories and shoes.

There she is!! My aesthetic fantasy. Basic. Clean. A tiny bit different but mostly expected.
