Respectfully, I think JP should've just gone with it. I had a manager use the word "cognizant" in a sentence while talking to me. At the time, I never heard of that word. However, I used context clues and realized what he meant and moved forward. Being a professional on TV, sometimes you just gotta put 2 and 2 together.
