The bulbs for perennials are one-time plant for a lifetime of floral enjoyment! (As my grandmother used to say.)😊

I think for the cinnamon sticks they're talking about a warm compote (the closed captioning made it look like you said "compost". But I heard you say "compote".) When I make a compote, it is a warmed fresh fruit with honey, cinnamon & maybe brown sugar. Usually apple, or blueberry, for apple, or blueberry, pancakes. My husband loves warm fruit compote on his Belgian waffles!

I also cannot call Marv, anything but Marv. LOL!!!

I have a really funny story about Halloween & Nutri-Grain bars. When Kroger had a sale on the nutrigrain bars, I bought a whole bunch. I had just moved into my first apartment in Ohio and was anxious to try new foods in the Midwest. So, I ate ONE bar...well, my diverticulitis flared like you would not believe! I asked all my friends at work, neighbors, Bible Study friends at Church. But nobody liked them. Now I was stuck with them...or so I thought! "Beggars' Night" was big then in Ohio. So, I figured I'd give the nutrigrain bars to the "Trick or Treaters". Sounds harmless right? Well, "Beggars' Night" comes. I am sitting outside with my dog to give out the nutrigrain bars. Kids come and go. Each child saying thank you, parents were happy that I wasn't giving out candy. I thought everything was going well. UNTIL, a 6 year old boy came up my walk. I gave him a nutrigrain bar. He replied, "Thanks, I think. Do you have something else?" I replied, "No, Sweetheart, I'm sorry. The nutrigrain bars are all I have for Halloween." The boy's father asks his son, "Don't forget to get one for your brother! Lady, my other son is home sick with chicken pox." So, I went to happily give another nutrigrain bar to the little bot for his sick brother (I knew them both from. Church). The little boy says to his Dad, "That's OK, Dad. He can have mine." (He was clearly not a fan of nutrigrain bars). His father says, "Oh, no! You two are gonna start eating healthy stuff! This lady is smart. Get another one!" I gave another one to the little boy, who tears in his eyes, said to me, "I really don't like these. But there are starving children..." We had talked about that in Sunday School. But he looked so sad! But it was so FUNNY...."it's ok, Dad. He an have mine. I don't want it" lived in my Halloween stories for YEARS!!! 😅😂

Love pumpkin soup with the canned pumpkin. It's basically 2 ingredients (canned pumpkin and chicken stock) but you can add cream and all sorts of goodies into it to flavor it any way that makes your heart happy....pumpkin soup and a grilled cheese is a great switch 'em up for fall if you're a bit tired of tomato soup!

You have inspired me to purchase and try several new things from Sam’s Club. Thank you for your time in making these videos. Problem several things that we liked they only carried for a short period of time. Example the Southwest Cheesy Rice and the stuffed nachos.
