This is the final 5 minutes of the Wii Shop. The channel still works, and as of now you can still download anything you've already purchased. Virtual Console and Wii Ware titles are no longer listed. The only thing that appears under "Wii Ware" is 3 channels.

Just realized that 2019 wasn’t last year.

I miss Wii shop. I miss the Wii. And I miss the amazing childhood I had of playing games with my siblings.

I didn't even know. I was at cousin's house. I was bored and stuff. Then out of curiosity I started to search my cousin's drawers and found a Wii console! I started to set everything up with the help of my dad. Then I started the Wii up. the nostalgic main theme of the Wii. So relaxing. I realized I had no games downloaded, so I pointed the hand at the Wii Shop Channel and chose Start. The blue ring meaning that it's loading hyped me up. After all the waiting, I saw the news but didn't read them, because...well I didn't care. I wanted them spicy games. My cousin has saved up A LOT of Wii Points. Of course, I had to ask him if I can use them, and he said yes! But when I tried searching for "Sonic the Hedgehog", for some reason it didn't find them. I typed Mario because I knew at least one Mario game had to be in the Shop. It found nothing. Then I searched the Internet for help and found this video. I don't how the fuck I missed the news about the Wii Shop Channel closing.
