B.C. political leaders kick off campaigns amid pandemic

Tuesday marked day one of the five-week provincial campaign trail. Despite being in the middle of a pandemic, leaders of three parties were out around the province starting their campaigns.

With concerns about COVID-19, more than a third of voters in B.C. are expected to vote by mail in the upcoming provincial election, according to officials, with thousands of people already having asked to receive their ballot by mail since the campaign began 24 hours ago.
