Just in time heh, I'm placing the order for once of these this week. I worked a lot to save up for one. I used to fly the Mavic Air 2 before I sold my drone, DJI has come a long way in such a short time, this thing is amazing

I always thought one should turn on the controller first and then the bird and turn off the bird first and controller last.

THANKS SO MUCH!!!! This is exactly the video I wanted before flying my drone. One of the things I'm so skeptical is flying over water as beginning lol as land crash I can live with but water crash I'm sunk. I suppose just trust the technology. Great detail and coverage. The RC 2 which I have seems to have SO MUCH features so thanks for an absolute much watch in my opinion and very helpful video I'll check for your others and make my buddy who has a Mini 3 watch this video before letting him touch mine. He crashed his twice!

Hey Greg! You should definitely do a video on these drones over NJ !! Doesn’t every drone have to have a transmitter telling them exactly who owns and operates the drone? Lots of people want to know what you think about this topic!! I would think that would get a lot of views.

With the obstacle avoidance on how far away do you have to stand from the Drone to keep from interfering with takeoff you should also turn on controller before you turn drone power on this should be just common sense but some people forget to do it

A note btw, if you use air 3 batteries on the air 3S, thats fine, but I believe it disables the feature where Bluetooth stays on for 12 hours after you power the drone off for file transfers. The battery capacities are ever so slightly different as well.

Edit: I did confirm this is true from other reviews and DJI's own website
