I've only recently discovered this, among thousands of other disco classics, and for someone who grew up with house music, I consider this to be some of the most beautiful, uplifting dance music ever made. I'm blown away by the sheer class and silky-smooth production of these records from way back in the 1970s - in an era when synthesizers and drum machines were a brand new phenomenon and most dance music was created organically; with drummers, guitarists, orchestras etc. The end product was a phenomenal wall of sound that was still heavily infused with the funk and soul of its predecessors.

It appears that 1977 was the year in which electronic dance music was born when tracks like this and Donna Summer's "I Feel Love" broke through from the clubs into the mainstream. Many say that 1979 was the death of disco but that's only true in so far that it was the end of an era in pop culture. The music carried on well into the 1980s as hi-NRG and post-disco (aka boogie or electro-funk) and had evolved into house music by the end of the decade.

In the words of Gloria Gaynor, "disco didn't die, it changed its name to protect the innocent."

Very underrated souvenir from Voyage. So disco danceable. Happy music with several hooks. Great synth and xylo. Good orch backing. Good for line dancing and free form. Some aerobics too. Nice side bar echo voices, like Silver Convention. Tuff guitars. Punky horns. Repeat trance mantra type patterns in music. Good riff layers. Lots of cute hooks here. Great effort. Power buildup into space. Thanks, Voyage. Dance on. Vive les disco freaks...

Saludos desde Ecuador en Sud America, este éxito lo escuche por primera vez cuando tenía 21 años, en un LP de este Grupo VOYAGE, traído desde Paris - Francia por mi hermana que vivía en Europa... Este Tema está considerado entre los 5 más famoso de la Disco Music... Ahora que tengo 68 años y cada vez que lo escucho, me parece un tema fascinante y muy bien orquestado... Este LP que grabó VOYAGE... fue el de mayor Éxito en su carrera artística...
