What a banger background song. Trovarion style.

Hell yeah. I've got 20 of these pyromaniacs to paint, and I will definitely be using this

Very cool, only thing I might add to a flamer like that is some flat black to the very end/tip to simulate soot!

I've been doing this on my drag race car model headers for years using the transparent Tamiya acrylics. Good stuff.

That looks great. I heat treat steel pretty often and it looks spot on to my eye. Very nice!

Not only the flamer, but I like the rugged look of the armor too.

Yeah layering different things color glazes is great for building gradients, I learned this technique oil painting but have found all of the same techniques transfer over

I use a very similar technique but 3 shades - Seraphim Sepia, Druchii Violet then Drakenhof Nightshade

You can also get this effect, I’ll be it a lesser version, with retributor gold/runelord brass followed by drucchii purple and drakenhoff blue. I’m relatively new to the hobby so sorry if I got the names wrong

I have a bunch of infernus that I was trying to figure out how to paint their barrels/vents...I certainly know how I'm doing it now!

I like how the brush makes it look like flames coming out of the flamer in the thumbnail

Looks damn SWEET
You Warhammer folks are on a whole other level with a paint brush.

I did this with a Thermal Cannon on an Imperial Knight, I added a mix of orange, yellow and white to the inside of the gun barrels, varnished them, blackened the metal in some spots, and repeated it on a melta gun.
Then I added Thermal stressing to a Las Impulsor, I love these paint jobs
