Slayer Showdown Battle Set Speedstorm Unboxing & Test Battles! | Beyblade Burst Surge/Sparking

Back with another HUGE BATTLE SET from Hasbro's Speedstorm series! This is the Slayer Showdown Battle Set and it comes with 6 Beys AND a new Beystadium. We've been pretty impressed with all of the Speedstorm stadiums that have been released because they also spice up battles with our Takara Tomy Beys. This Slayer Showdown Beystadium features various shapes and surfaces, so the movements are changing up every single battle. There's a small slope to the stadium that directs your Beys back into the main battle ring, but you'll be able to battle all out in all areas. Our one complaint is that the stadium lid seems excessively large, getting in the way of our view and for the camera LOOOL. The colours look really good and feels quite different from typical Hasbro color combos.

As for the Beys themselves, the 6 beys are a mishmash of random parts, but they do include a few that are worth adding to your collection if you don't have many Beys yet (Hasbro's Wheel Disc, Universe-SPM, Charge Metal-SPM and etc.).

This set went up in price recently at our local Toys R Us stores ($110 CAD to $120 CAD) and we believe that is the case for the Motor Strike Battle Set. To be honest, prices for ALL Bey products are going up at Toys R Us, so try your best to find a deal. Out of the two recent sets, we'd recommend the Motor Strike Battle Set over this one, but you can't go wrong with a set that includes a new stadium and 6 Beys!

Another new battle set and stadium from Hasbro! We held off on getting this one for a little while, but we were in the mood for a new stadium to battle in 😜. To our surprise...the price of this battle set actually WENT UP?! This set will run you about $100 give or take, so make sure you like everything in it before you pull the trigger. We'd recommend getting the Motor Strike Battle Set before this one, but the battles in this stadium were more intense than we anticipated! Can't go wrong with either one, so let's hope Hasbro keeps on pumping out new stadiums for us!
