You can absolutely farm on less than 2-acres and do not need to be in an 'affluent' county like I am. This is just what I personally wanted as an entrepreneur who hopes to host different workshops at my farm.

As a native NYer I have vacationed in the Adirondack’s every year since I was 5. It wasn’t until I was an adult that I discovered Saratoga and now I make a trip there every summer. I agree with you. You are absolutely right. It's like trailer parks, a lot of corporations and developers are buying up the trailer parks. I tell people come together as individuals and start to call up and buy the trailer parks this way, you can beat the big developers at their own game. That's the only way you're gonna beat them in high numbers in the co-op groups. So I like a channel for that. You're giving us ideas, just keep it real, that's all I ask.

If you’re still trying to figure out what to grow on your land, there is a group of chestnut growers called “Bread Tree” in New York
They will help you plant and raise a few acres of chestnut trees.
Something to look into.
