Just install this cam outside, plugged. But I have this message " the battery ran out of power, this device is now offline. To restore service, charge its battery" But it's a plugged cam ! Do I have to install a battery inside even if I use this cam plugged ?

I have a couple of questions. (1) Will an outdoor stick up cam automatically record videos *with audio* when motion activated? (2) Will the videos be saved automatically if I have a Ring Protect Basic plan? I only plan to install one camera. I am trying to document when a neighbor's pet comes up to our dining room window and barks. We know when it happens. We just want to document it with videos that include audio.

Everytime when I try to connect this to my internet it fails. I've tested everything in my house and the internet is perfectly fine. I'm starting to think it is my cam that is having issues as I never had issues with my internet until I bought this camera. Every other device in my home works fine but this. Is there a solution?
