In the late 70s, Michael Jai White and I went to the same high school in Bridgeport, CT. He was one or two grades behind me. I was by no means one of his buddies, but my cousin was, and to this day, they stay in touch. Central High could be like the wild wild west at times, but Michael and another martial artist buddy of his, John "Dutchie" Williams, were known, respected, and even feared for their martial arts skills. Kudos to Michael for his success.
