The original Brian K. Vaughn run of The Runaways was absolutely phenomenal; everything a great comic should be story wise PLUS every comic book character trope deliberately imputed but wielded to perfection! Sadly, the title waned after Vaughn departed from it, but I would still love to see those original stories and cast of characters brought back in a series of some sort; now would be the perfect time. For anyone thinking about it, RUN and grab Vaughn's stint on this series right now; you will not be disappointed... ~_~

Man, I really hated how the writers treated Gert.
She was a unique and interesting character that they killed, like, twice if memory serves me correctly. The one silver lining was they at least gave her death a lasting relevance that has gone on to influence the team's motivations and behaviors in an attempt to honor her memory.

...at least, that's how it was when I finally stopped reading their stories. I have NO idea what they're doing with this alternate "Doom" version of the Runaways. Marvel has squandered pretty much everything about this title.

A great series. This was my first comic, and the gateway drug to my comic addiction. They were going to make this a movie, but I think it should be a Netflix Original series.

Marvel should really bring in their teenage super heroes like the Runaways, Power Pack and Young Avengers. Maybe that will happen with the Initiative.

This the first comic series I read and I would still say it one of my favourites. I was heart broken that they didn't keep the original characters, its really not the same.

Adore the Runaways, even once the quality had gone down hill I was saddened by it's cancellation. Not to mention how the much talked about movie also never came into being. Would love to see it make a real return one of these days

The Runaways are so underrated they deserve their own animated series, but if they do get animated series I just hope Disney or SONY don’t ruin it by making it into a cringey comedy.

Also the fact the runaways’ worst enemies are their own parents makes them a bit unique in my perspective.

Love the Runaways. was SO disappointed with the Battleworld tie in issues. Those weren't the Runaways. I mean really, how can you have a Runaways story without Nico and Chase! Molly was there, but she pops up everywhere cause she's a mutant.
