FLARE M1.7 & CME (2012-11-08 00:00:19 - 2012-11-08 05:58:55 UTC)
Показать описание
A M1.7 flare occurred on Nov. 8th, 0223 UT peak time, in a region on the east limb (N13E89 at the time of the flare). There is a slight risk for further C or M class flares from this region. A CME was observed in association with this event, but owing to the location of the source region, no geomagnetic consequences are foreseen. There was a brief period of active geomagnetic conditions late on Nov. 7th at planetary level, from 18 to 21 UT, but the cause of this activity is not clear at the moment. Geomagnetic conditions are expected to be quiet for the next 48 hours.
