TriMet phasing out most paper, mobile tickets

TriMet is phasing out most of its paper and mobile tickets.

I am actually against HOP. I used to get Stickers that lasted the whole year. I never had to think about my year pass unless it was being inspected by someone. Now I have to remember to tap or get fined for forgetting so. In my particular use case hop is far less convenient. Not to mention Travel Tracking Trimet is now collecting. Why else would they care so much about "Make Sure you Tap Before each trip".
