Footage shows a man pushing his car into a petrol station in Bristol, amid a lack of fuel caused by panic-buying.

The man asks a journalist, who was recording the long queues that have formed at petrol stations all across the UK, for help pushing the car that ran out of fuel.

The footage had to be muted in part because of the strong language used during this frustrating situation.

Long queues keep forming at forecourts across the UK, while ministers and police urged motorists not to panic-but and to be “sensible”.

Probably the only car that genuinely should be there.

Journalist tells his mate to stick his car in neutral and give it a push and he'll share whatever he gets paid for the footage.

The media has caused this. I am a key worker and my petrol will run out next Wednesday. I'm not driving anywhere on my days off. Dreading what is ahead. All those selfish people- have they not fought what it would be like if we have a winter lock down and no fuel for essential works? Of course they haven't, but they will be the first to complain when essential services are lacking 😡😡😠😤

Funny how selectively the comments are turned off and on the telegraph I thought they were a useless big paper that people from social housing used for toilet paper

I was running low on unleaded friday, so i popped to my local petrol station which is on a busy road, as i approached there were 10-15 cars waiting on busy road this was the start of 2 days of trying to get fuel, sunday now still no fuel, i have to pick my daughter up from a school trip later im hoping to have enough fuel to get home, im now looking up buss timetable for school tomorrow as we live over 3 miles from school with no paths in most places she cant walk there, i dont know why the government are playing it down as panic buying, im sure some people filled up when they didnt need to, however when all petrol stations in a 40 mile radius and probably further have no fuel, STOP playing it down we need more tankers arriving more regularly maybe someone to ensure you have less than half a tank before you refill. The whole "theres plenty of fue, l people are just panic buying" doesnt help us.

That's a Kia XCeed, a plug-in hybrid that you can charge at home (though it takes hours). Nice car, silly driver!

Media once again starting a panic. Like they did on the CO2 is. But what they forgot to tell everyone although one plant in the northeast was closed due to costs of gas. There is another that has its own pipeline to the national grid mains and is still running producing CO2. To the HGV drivers, there are 3, 000 drivers awaiting their safety certificates from the DVLA as they delayed the posting out of the forms as they were on strike. July-August 2021.
