I loved Paloma Picasso too!!! I found it on Amazon. To me, this fragrance is classy, elegant, and sophisticated. My ex from many many years ago gave it to me. At first I didn’t like it then it grew on me.

Abby thanks for this fun and informative LIVE video. It was great to watch an extended in-depth discussion of many fragrances. I am curious to know if you have had to throw away a lot of fragrances and how long that they last in your house after you open them (before they go bad). It must be sad to have to dispose of a fragrance that you still love but that has gone off.

I used to have tons of fragrance! Then I became sensitive to scents...so I stopped for many years. Then I started trying a little bit at a time...and I am back rebuilding...but more selectively and just getting fewer but enjoy what I have.
Right now I have been loving Chantecaille fragrances...and of course my Chanel ones. But I have a few of the Tom Ford ones and I love them also. I have gotten a sampler of the house of Sillage...and I am enjoying them.
It is hard to try perfumes without trying them on. Something about my chemistry that I need to try them to truly appreciate whether I like it or not.

I forgot to mention the Caudalie fragrance called The Des Vignes....it’s gorgeous but needs reapplying often...wish it came in an eau de Parfumerie.... thank you again for all that you do! Mary

Darn - missed the live, but enjoying listening to both of you talk about your favorite fragrances now. I would love to get my hands on some Ormonde Jayne Royal Elixir - sounds like my cup of tea! Since you both have a tobacco fragrance on your wish list, allow me to recommend Santa Maria Tabacco Toscano. It’s a subtle tobacco with a bit of citrus, vanilla and wood. A big compliment getter for me from both men and women. It isn’t sweet and overpowering and can be worn in summer months, but you can layer it with other fragrances if you want to deepen an accord like vanilla

Loved watching this one! I see you two coordinated your tops. Her peach shirt looks marvelous next to your “Flintstone inspired” blouse. I agree coordinating tops is a great idea. You do not want the patterns or colors competing with each other. So glad TF’s Metallique was mentioned. That is my go-to signature scent. Smells like an expensive sexy marshmallow. I just went through my large bottle. Time for new one during the Sephora sale.

Hi Abby! So fun today, and I love love love your Chantecaille videos with Angela! I have been a long time fan of Flower bomb by Viktor & Rolf and would love your thoughts on a perfume with similar notes. I have added new perfumes to my collection that I am enjoying: Tom Ford Soleil Neige, Chantecaille Frangipane, Bond No. 9 Greenwich Village and Penhaligon’s Luna. All are lovely and very different, but I’m wondering if there’s something out there closer to Flower bomb from some of your favorite perfume brands. I’m a year older than you, so I love all of your stories and I became an empty nester when my twin daughters went off to college this year, so I’ve thrown myself into further exploring (and expanding) my love of makeup and perfume! I am enjoying your channel very much! Thanks!!

Mandy if you enjoy jasmine you must try maison Lancôme Jasmins Marzipan. Also really enjoying Byredo (which I know Abby has tried tons of 😉), and MFK (gentle fluidity gold, ala rose, and acqua universalis)!
