This Week on The Madden 16:
Introducing the Madden 16. They win at everything. All they want is for you to win too, and follow along all season long with weekly vignettes that sometimes make sense but still prove that playing Madden fixes everything in the world. The whole gang is here.
Dave Franco, one of the finest actors and dancers of the day. Ladies want to be with him, and men want to be him (even though they’d rather be Gronk cause he’s way more ripped.) His skills include: smiling and winning at Madden Mobile.
And of course, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, an actor who thinks Rex Ryan is his dad. If there were cleanup hitters in football and mobile video game versions of football, he’d be the cleanup hitter. Guy always gets it done.
Odell Beckham Jr. came to the party, and he brought his hair too. He’s one super-stretchy catchy guy. He also looks really cool when wearing headphones.
AJ Brooks is here to do triple suplexes on losing. Every time she steps in the ring, she turns into a winning machine.
Rob Gronkowski is ready to rumble with half a shirt and a full arsenal of muscles. He breaks boundaries, perceptions and the walls of buildings. Or at least he does when he’s riding a van. That’ll make sense later.
Julio Jones solves every problem from traffic congestion to volcanology.
Colin Kaepernick packs mad Pacino punch, and he looks like a really fast gazelle when he’s rushing for a touchdown. That guy always wins.
Patrick Peterson can cover anything. He yanks winning from the sky, takes it to the house, then dances a little bit. He runs em’ back and runs up the score too (in Madden and actual football.)
Rex Ryan comes from a long legacy of defensive heroes. He sees the big picture. Guy’s an expert strategist, and sweaterist. He calls the plays and saves the days. What a genius.
A generic millennial named Selfie is there. This guy has the rare talent of being an extreme expert on everything (while in reality, knowing very little.) He’s seen it all, and way before you’ve seen it. He’s always there to tell it like it isn’t, and take a selfie. That’s why we call him “Selfie.”
T-Rex is ready to take a bite out of losing. He thrashes to victory. He’ll eat anything: footballs, bad guys, pistachio nuts. Buildings. He just doesn’t know when to quit. Because he’s a winner.
Antonio Brown has hands that stick to everything. Guy catches it all: footballs, lightning bugs, touchdowns. Everything but cold viruses. He’s got a great immune system.
DJ Snackattack is part teddy bear, part robot, part party animal. Every time he’s there, he’s winning, and spinning a variety of fun jams from the early 90s through present.
Phil Simms and Jim Nantz have the kind of invisible touch it takes to win. You never see them. You only feel them with your ears. And heart. They’re all here.
And they’re all here to make you win and win and, then win again and yeah that’s mostly it. These guys are spreading the winning all season long. They’re the Madden 16. And they’re ferocious, at winning.
