Review of the Charles F. Stanley NASB Life Principles Bible

Charles Stanley is the reason I started loving God

I have listened to many many Pastors since the 80s when I became a born again Christian at the age of 30. The Pastor who baptized me introduced me to Dr. Stanley. I have narrowed down my selections of pastors to him. There are wonderful pastors out there but most speak of the end times. Of course we should know the signs that Jesus speaks of in Matthew 24, and there is also the book Daniel and most importantly Revelations. Dr. Stanley's focus is on Jesus and if we are focused on Jesus we shouldn't fear the 'end times'. Anything bought through 'In Touch' ministries I believe proceeds go back into the ministry. Dr. Stanley is very humble and loves God and Jesus Christ is his strength. He is not worth millions and doesn't ask for money. He had a pretty rough childhood however he and his mother were very close. She prayed for him nightly by his bedside.

Greetings from Arkansas! Thank you for this review! I have the NKJV of the Life Principles Bible and I LOVE IT! I am going to buy an NASB version for further study. Charles Stanley's commentary varies slightly from version to version so its worth it to have both. The only thing I did not care for was that Jesus' words are not in red, but this turned out to be a blessing. I carefully underlined Jesus' words in red with a ruler and pen, and in doing so sank the Lord's words deeper into my heart and mind.

I am a new subscriber. Last year Dr. Stanley sent me a book that he wrote called "30 Life Principle's" it is in workbook format. It has been a blessing to me since I have no money for a study bible or any bible for that fact. I use my friends computer when I can to help other people understand Linux. Glad you did a full Review of this beautiful Bible. I have three Charles Stanley Life Principles Bibles -- NKJV, NIV, and NASB. All of which have different covers and are different editions, but all basically the same content. Charles Stanley was a great Teacher. I really enjoyed his Teachings (and still do). I highly recommend his Bibles. Wonderful Review! 🌄

Why don't you tell us the font size? The life principle about the valley experience got me through A very painful time in my life. I copy and hand out several of these to people in need of the spiritual truth. This Bible has helped me understand the spiritual aspect of the bible. I highly recommend this bible.

You do such great reviews! Charles Stanley and John MacArthur always preach to study the NASB, I ordered the JM because it seemed more in depth, but I love Stanley’s teaching more. I’ll be keeping this one on my radar!

Hello! This is a nice review but what's the reason for that you wouldn't pay 60S for this good book? According to your survey it's worth it.
