Looks alright. Real time combat like this obviously lends itself well to using a controller, but it doesn't seem like the interface is tailer made for that at all.

What I don't understand is why *almost all* game companies don't show gameplay first thing in their promotional material, or at all. Don't tell me the story, don't give an atmospheric impression *until I know I am interested* pls. And for me to know if I am interested the most important thing to show me is gameplay. With so many games to choose from, I am not prepared to invest attention in story or background until I have seen at least a few seconds of... gameplay.

Same thing on Steam, when I'm shopping or browsing there, videos showcasing atmosphere and story are always up first (not to mention long showcasing of company logos). Ain't nobody got time for that! If you want to suck me in, the very first thing I need to know is, does this look like a game I want to play? Cutscenes and artistic impressions will not tell me this.

Now I like 11 bit studios a lot (This War Of Mine might be one of my favorite games of all time) and I really don't want to single them out, but I have been wondering this for a while; is it just me, or do do game companies consistently shoot themselves in the foot by allowing vanity to dictate what promotional material prioritizes to show?
