Vedius' Picks to Watch: Patch 7.14

Welcome to another episode of Picks to Watch, where Vedius looks at some of the new champions and picks we could see in competitive play during Patch 7.14.

Im Surprised you didn't mention Cho Gath. If the meta shift will be as drastic as in solo q, Cho could become a big contender in the jungle spot. Some teams prefer lategame scaling alot (mostly because they are not that confident in closing games out early) which makes cho interesting. He is fairly weak early but his lategamepower is insanely high. He can become a tank with (realisticly in LCS (Soloq obviously higher) 5k+ hp who can burst with his gargoyles ult combo for about 1 thousand true dmg.

Shen. Shen is really op because you can crush top laners in early game with your Q, SPECIALLY when you're behind the enemies so you get more attack speed. You should always take claws from the inmortal and activate the pink Q to get a lot of life back and buy a warmong and a titanic hydra to deal crazy damage, specially to midlaners, ad carries and supports. And this may sound crazy, but if you get a Black Cleaver you can get faster to have less difficulties to get behind their backs. Always remember to watch your teammates or if not you'll mess up the situation and your teammates will start o ask themselvs "why isn't Shen ulting" and then they'll have an excuse to report you after the game. Anyways, I hope you liked my type, because when you get to play with a crazy champion (Shen) and to main him a lot (like me) you can deal TOONS OF DAMAGE (thank you Phreek) aaand that's alll, I guess.

I personally actually like Taric with a heal build as I feel like that can be pretty strong especially with 5 stacks to his Q and you also will get a lot of CDR early on additionally.

0/18/12 masteries and Ardent Censer + Redemption. Solari of course can be built as well as the shield will be improved by the items and the windspeakers mastery.
Of course he has a HP and Armor scaling, why it also would make sense to go more tanky and i'm actually not sure which one is better looking at the numbers but I actually had the feeling so far that the healing version is pretty strong.

Additionally to note is that I think Sejuani does a good amount of damage with her spell combos which is quite consistent as well with her W -> E -> Passive.

There's also a decent chance if MF does make it into the meta that reset comps can become a thing. The most obvious ones Being Kat and Kha, the tough part will be rounding out the team. J4 and Rumble were always strong in these sorts of comps and are both amazing currently, and I wouldn't be to surprised to see a Galio make his way in in order to have more map pressure that sort of comp generally lacks. Also, Rakan is a huge help to these comps; so if there was any chance for a comp like this to make a return it would be now.

I kinda think that Quinn's gonna make an appearance in this next patch somewhere. The lethality changes and her already assassin-like roaming style with Thunderlord's Decree will make her a duel-threat in the early game, and a dive-threat in the mid-late game

I can see Jhin becoming a thing (more than he actualy is atm) because of the lethality buffs. Either that or I'm gonna have a very fun time destroying everyone who underestimates me :D
