That's Joe's problem. Charla will ALWAYS say that his friendship with Schultz was ALWAYS mutually beneficial. In return, Schultz has always said thar he was grateful for Charla putting him on to a hip hop fan base. Charla came to Schultz. You didn't reach out to someone who also can't make you great.

It ain't so much about color as it is about content. Most podcasts with POC are about the same things, hip hop, sports etc. Most big yt people's podcast have broader ranges of subject and could also dabble in hip hop. POC just have to broaden our horizons when it comes to music, entertainment, basically everything plain and simple. The world is much bigger than just hip hop, sports and ourselves.

Joe rogan was podcasting when there was the purple icon on the Iphone 3G that said Podcasts. Most people did not know wtf that shit was for but Joe was podcasting. Thats why he is the biggest. Being first always gives you an advantage.

In terms of content: Joe Rogan brings on experts from a vast range of topics. They do 3-4 hr podcasts providing a deep and detailed breakdown of their area of expertise. He brings on experts from both sides of each topic and allows them a platform to say their piece.
Ontop of that, the content of these conversations are hilarious. Breakfast club keeps it strictly hip hop and even in that limited scope they are kept on a tight leash. Its hard to take them seriously when they walk on eggshells.

In terms of following: Joe Rogan has a much larger and far more loyal fanbase. Radio isn't what it used to be.
