Create a Hyperlink in Excel

Almost like a web page, you can create hyperlinks in Excel. This vidoe show how to create hyperlinks in Excel using the Insert Hyperlinks feature and also with the HYPERLNKS function. In addition it will cover how to turn off that sometime annoying feature of automatic hyperlink creation.

Hey Doug, question, is there a way to link a hyper link through the indirect function? For example in one cell, I am using the indirect function but I want a hyperlink to show since I am changing that cell from data validation. Thanks

hi, I have a question, I made an excel sheet with hyperlinks to a local folder. I copied that sheet to a guest account I made but the hyperlink would not work while the sheet is in the guest account. is there a way to make the link work from the guest account without copying the source folder of the documents from my main account? my window is 8 and the excel is 2013. Please help :)

can you please show us how to do Hyperlink with filter? How can I pass value (Querystring) in hyperlink string and then in target sheet it will filter those id's along with locating? so if sheet 1 has 1-10 value and if i click on 1 it will take me to sheet two and filter all who had value 1

i have a question regarding hyperlink. i am working on an excel workbook which containing 2 work sheet. (1) sheet 1 (2) sheet 2
sheet 1 : Column A (Item no.) & Column B(Price.) ( number of rows 100)
sheet 2 : Using vlookup with vlookup value (Item no.) and col.index number 2 (Price)
In sheet 1 and in columnB (Price) there is Hyperlink(details of VAT from another workbook)
i want to bring the hyperlink also (which is in price column) with vlookup result in sheet 2.
