China is stealing our job. Why are you buying their products? #MAGA

Ryan, a wealth of information for a lame man like myself. You made it easy for us to understand. Now that “head thrasher” was a beautiful fish and I loved the patience you had during the fight with the current and the fish. I would have probably been trying to rip the fish through it haha. The net job might need a little work, just kidding man, he seen the net and said nope not this time, but the final net job 💯 brother 21” of beauty!!!

Nice fish man! I'm liking all these biggies you've gotten into lately. Excellent review on the rod/reel as well!

Awesome review!!! Beautiful fish man. Really respected the way you handled the fish with respect wetting your hand before holding the fish, keeping the fish out of the water as little as possible. Not taking a photo shoot with it.

Excellent review on the Maxcatch Euro nymph combo and getting into Euro Nymphing on the cheap. I've bought a few Maxcatch products and been very happy with them. No, I'm not being paid a commission by the company!
My "Euro nymphing on the cheap" outfit consists of a 5wt rod, a tiny reel that I found on ebay somewhere (Sorry, cant remember what company) and 30 feet of .7mm floating running line with about 3 feet of bi-coloured sighter line, ending with a tippet ring. There's also about 30 feet of 15lb mono as backing. This outfit chucks nymphs as well as dries and wets, with little or no line sag. I also have made up tenkara lines with the same running line and it does a fine job of it. A 100 foot length of this line only costs about $7US--a bargain.
I'd like to eventually make a trip over to the US and do a little fishing, especially small stream brook trout fishing. If you ever get "downunder" to OZ, I'd be happy to take you out trout fishing.
Cheers,
Steve.

We preach the same...you don't need 1k rods and reels to catch fish...information is key....

I wanna try it but I don't want to get overpriced and maxcatch is one of the best entry level rod and reel companies the one i am using right now is the 8'4 3 weight extreme and I like it more than my TFO $200 rod and the maxcatch is $80 and it came with so much stuff
