Honestly while watching Pushpa it made me remember the storyline of RAEES reasons are

2. Use of the river as Raees did

I loved Raees. The trailer still give me goosebumps alongside the bgm. Even back in that time, I watched Raees few times. Music was great as well. Srk and Jishan ayub alongside Nawaz bhai - epic. No doubt it's an underrated masterpiece. The biriyani after Eid prayer, battery scenes and the kite dialogue is my fabourite 😁

I can relate to RAEES, because it's a real story based on "Latif" who was a gangster of Gujarat. I live in Ahmedabad and have heard news about him a lot, his case is still haven't closed in court. The policeman who did the encounter of Latif used to live in the 6th floor of the flat opposite to where I live.
