SPEED NOTE READING TUTOR: LEVEL 2 BRONZE

The Speed Note Reading Tutor is designed to help beginning - intermediate percussion students get comfortable naming notes on the treble and bass staff and locating the notes on the keyboard.

Each level presents a progressive challenge for the student. As a note is highlighted on count ONE, you are asked to NAME the note and touch the correct note on the keyboard or note name graphic below the staff. Each round gets progressively more difficult as you work your way through the video. Bronze, Silver and Gold videos increase the speed within each level!

I encourage you to keep your eyes focused on the notes on the staff and use your peripheral vision to locate and touch the key on the screen - just as you would on a keyboard.

Don't move on to the next level until you can successfully locate and name ALL the notes on each of the Bronze, Silver and Gold videos for that level!
