Pattaya Songkran Water Festival, Soi 7 & Beach Road Thailand

Songkran (Thailand new year) happens every year in April in Thailand and around Asia.
this video shows people enjoying the Thai new year down soi 7 and beach road. There is no escape from attack from water blasters to buckets of freezing cold water. just as you dry off, you get soaked again. all good fun, but if you are filming like we did, you definitely need a waterproof camera.

the sailor bar is my favorite spot for breakfast also.Cheap and very good.It been there a very long time.early 90s for sure.I did the songkran thing also last year.After 25 years of going to thailand I decide to do it.It was my fist and last time for doing it in pattaya..Pattaya should be like the rest of the country and do it for only 3 days.

the water is clean lol to start with after 1 week it gets bad thats when the infections start im not out there for another 69 days

Love Songkran but in 2013 I lost a brand new $600.00 pair of eye glasses when I got blasted by a bucket of cold water, they ended up under a car tire! Good job I had escorts to get me home to my spare pair! Ah well the price we pay! Would be back at it in a minute.
