In this presentation Don discusses the theory behind Cost-of-Delay and some of the practical considerations of adopting and utilizing this tool. Recently many software developers have become aware of CoD because of its adoption by as a prioritization tool in SAFe. Prioritization is a very useful reason to learn about CoD, but, as Don will explain, this tool is useful for many other purposes.

Insightful; one concern though is that CoD is kind of described as a linear thing - it very often is not.. E.g one week delay on the first man on the moon mission would not matter much -- but a delay causing US to be nr. 2 on the moon, would really have an impact on the "value" of the undertaking.
