Rabbi Mendel Kessin is an internationally renowned lecturer and educator and has spoken extensively around the world including in the United States, Europe, South Africa, Canada and Israel on topics of Hashkafa, Learning Methodology and Shmiras Haloshon (proper speech) with emphasis on the writings of R’ Moshe Chaim Luzzatto (Ramchal). Rabbi Kessin received S’michah from Rabbi Moshe Feinstein and held a close reltionship with Rav Chaim Friedlander Zatza”l, and helped with the publication of his Sifrei Haramchal (green collection). He has a PhD in Psychology from Fordham University in NY and runs a private practice in Brooklyn and Lakewood.

You mentioned in one of your recent SHIURIM about the primordial importance of studying the Mishna, and in particular - the SIATA DI'SHMAYA version.

Is there one with an ENGLISH TRANSLATION - both for the original text and commentary?

Doesn't though CHIDAH say that the Redemption will come only with the study and revelation of - KABBALAH?

You're implying that if you simply learn the ORAL LAW, then that is considered the - ENTIRE TORAH?

What about the - WRITTEN LAW?

Unfortunately, there is a tendency to DENY this world in favor of a TOTALLY SPIRITUAL one, when talking about OLAM HABA and Shabbos.

What we really mean and pine for is - the PHYSICALLY PERFECTED STATE of this world!
