I'm 100 pages in and I already love it. I think it works better as a story than Phasma(to me at least) and I really enjoy reading about Vi and Cardinal. I hope that Dawson continues to get more novels.

Great video. One can really see your enthusiasm, which is nice. Personally, I found Phasma solid (wished there would've been more time with her in the First Order), but Cardinal was a really interesting character and the best part of the book!! Thanks for the review, I'm looking forward to this 👍

I'm so glad this was posted. I preordered this book on Audible but didn't know it was a follow up to "Phasma." I'll have to get that book now as well. I love all the info I can get from this channel. And it helps that you have embraced the new canon without resentment and can draw all the parallels with Legends.

I havent read it yet but I really want to before I visit Galaxy’s Edge. I love how they make it feel as if you’re a regular person on Batuu and not some hero, but also how they tie in the adventures and allow you to participate.

Just wrapped up this book following my trip to batuu and woah it was so much more than I expected in a REALLY good way, couldn’t agree more captain cardinal became one of my favorite new cannon characters

Would you say Phasma is required reading then for this? Also, planning on going to GE in November to beat those crowds when the new rides open, then go again next year! Perks of living in FL ;)

I really enjoyed the new book I was there on batuu yesterday and it was amazing got to see the first order and the resistance saw kylo ren chewbacca rey and first order troops but unfortunately I didn't see vi moradi

Excited to dive in. My favorite parts of Phasma were the Cardinal and Vi dynamic. Also, have to wait until May for the family trip to GE. 😩

Just got through reading Phasma and absolutely enjoyed every moment of it. Probably one of if not my favorite of the new canon books thus far. Dawson is such an engaging and talented writer and she's definitely won me over to caring about her characters and wanting to see what happens to them next. I currently have a copy of Black Spire being transferred to my local library and I can't wait to get my hands on it.

I was not going to buy this book because I thought it was a shameless plug for the new Disney Park. Know my it actually has a story to that takes place after TLJ makes me very excited. You did a great job reviewing this book.
