Plot Twist: actually all these 50 kings are not kings. Those are all pawns hiding inside king's mask. Real king already escaped from the board

Some of the king moves are definitely questionable. I think both sides should have at least 1 king to be mated unless there is another victory condition. Such as a king making it to the opposite side of the board. Because even if you have like 6 kings left... How are you going to hunt down a queen within 50 moves without hanging more kings?

You could have put the royal king inside a wall outside the 10 by 10 box so that it couldn't get mated and set stalemate to win so that black would win by capturing every non royal king instead of by checkmate.

The rules were not obvious to me: can black checkmate ANY king before black loses all of its pieces. I thought it was "which side loses its pieces first" from the beginning. Checkmate rules made no sense to me because white is in check before and after every move the entire game.

Fun fact: chess has 64 squares in it but there are 30 queens and 50 kings 50+30 =80 😂
