Do you ever ship with UPS or Fedex on Ebay?

I started taking pics of the item on the scale and post it on my listing so anyone can see how much it actually weights.

I feel like they'll still overcharge via adjusted costs.

I would like to add a couple of things to this.
Pirate ship doesn't support FedEx.
Probably, 50% of the items I ship go FedEx. The FedEx cost is sometimes $5-$10 less than UPS.
I like to see all 3 options, side by side, before committing on the purchase.
Around 100 packages go to FedEx monthly.
This could potentially save me at least $500 each month, over UPS.
FedEx Ground are the ones that usually make that $10 difference.
USPS Advantage throws another factor into this mix but it appears to affect UPS more than FedEx.

Second, I am preparing to take a temporary hit on debits to my bank account. Approximately, around 30 days.
I currently spend $3000 per month on UPS & FedEx shipping. The delayed debits will be overlapping newly purchased labels after the new system starts. The new system will be much smoother.

If you use pirate ship and have a business credit card that gives you shipping rewards the 3 or 4% adds up money back in your pocket

I had always wondered about that I use Fed ex on bulk sales as well and bulky items which I found it cheaper then USPS The Fed ex tracking is great as you can follow it every step of the way and I found its faster Thanks again for the info

Great video. You are totally right! Pirateship RULES. I ALWAYS use them whenever possible. And most times I get a better deal. Like you, I was using them a lot so I could just pay up front at the time of purchase, and not have to worry about being billed later (it's a mental thing). I am glad eBay is FINALLY doing up front payment with UPS and Fedex. Not so much for UPS (unless discounted eBay fees are less than Pirateship). Mostly if Fedex is appreciably better than UPS, I'd be glad that eBay offers that up front shipping fee to just pay then and there and be done with it. As you said, UPS is usually a better deal, or sometimes USPS Ground Advantage is better. Also Pirateship offers "box in bag" which has saved me money on MANY occassions provided the length is 18 inches or less. But it's good to know that eBay is stepping up and offering something that they should have done years ago, even if I won't normally use it. It's nice to know it's there if I need it!

We ship through ebay all the time and we don't have any trouble and it takes the money out instantly

I use FedEx and UPS occasionally and I’m glad for this change. I’d prefer for them to charge right away. I use Pirate Ship all of the time and they do a great job.

I just got charged an extra $30 over what original label charged. My weight and dimension were perfect. They are a rip. I changed any listings with FedEx to ground more FedEx for me...and eBay needs to look into this..!!

When does this start? I got charged after the fact a few days ago...
So far I have found Ground advantage is usually cheaper... I shipped a vintage Stetson cowboy hat and FedEx home delivery was way cheaper on a larger box, through ebay

I’m just getting back into selling on EBay. Will EBay charge my debit or credit card the fees for shipping through for Fed Ex or UPS or will the cost of shipping be taken out of my profit and then EBay will transfer my profit to my checking account? Also, for Pirate Ship, would the shipping cost using Pirate Ship be taken out via my credit or debit card or would the shipping cost be deducted from my total profit? I would prefer that instead of paying for shipping separately, that EBay just deduct the shipping cost from my profit and deposit what is left as my profit into my checking account.
