Most of the time when i "massive sidechain" my basses or future bass chords to the kick, it creates an unpleasant distortion. Even when i ease up on the attack. I find using a real short ghost kick with just the transient signaling the compressor creates a much smoother ducking effect. Before I knew this i tried the LFO sidechain routing method and its just a pain in the ass. Compressor is the way to go in my opinion, at least in Logic.

is there a way to make the side chain be a summing stack? as in the other way round, like i've got a load of audio and midi in a summing stack and i want to put that into the side chain of a vocoder, but summing stacks don't show up in the inst option when you click side chain. is there a way to do it?

I've been working with logic for a while and I'm trying to do this effect like in ableton with the sampler in which you start the sample and the begin to cut the lenght of the sample while recording making and awsome effect like dub delay, any idea how to make it on logic, cheers love you're videos (:

Hello, I seem to have a problem with Logic that I yet don’t understand.
I have recorded many times on the same scene. After I have recorded, I play with the recording; EQ it, compress it, etc. After I delete the recorded tracks I leave the channels saved (not the audios) and I save my work, since I added plug ins. I have done and repeated these steps a bunch of times since it’s the same scene I use for my church Facebook Live Scene.
The problem is that now, every time I try to open the scene (which it only has the plug ins), it takes forever to open. That’s not exactly the problem itself; the problem is that when it’s loading to open I noticed that certain plugins and old-named channels are loading as well; channel names and plug ins that I deleted dozens of renewing scenes ago.
I feel like I have kept and keep on making my scene bigger and bigger in GB size every time I have saved over the old scene. Any help?

Hopefully I made sense. As you can tell, I am a beginner in using Logic Pro.
