Just saw your video. It is very informative. Today was the first day I sent off something to Australia. It was sent to Illinois. I sincerely hope they don’t mishandle things. It’s a low dollar amount but I am still worried. I always pack well and ship immediately. So it was a bit of a shock to find out that the item has a timeframe of a couple of months to reach the buyer. Your information was useful so I can make better decisions on shipping.

Thanks for the great info! Others mentioned this the other day, as well, but today eBay changed all my packages sold and going out today from media mail (only listed this way with no other option) to either first class or priority as first choice. I had to manually change before I printed the label.

As a Canadian buyer I can say that eBay global shipping program is total nonsense. The price is WAY more expensive that if the seller shipped directly to me using UPS.

I just received a refund request from a item ebay shipped thru GSP due to broken glass, they sent pictures and it was in my original box and wrapped exactly as I sent to KY.
They even mentioned my note I wrote on the box. I refunded the cost, only $30. Wanting to give great customer service. Ebay didn’t repack or unpack. thanks for your time, I always learn a few great nuggets from your video’s.

I don't ship globally because I can't get a guarantee that it was delivered - with a signature confirmation. But I get a lot of overseas global shipping from buyers.

I have a a question I shipped 2 months ago International and I received a fee for 300 of all the international shipments I did ebay telling me I need to pay the fees but I believe I paid them when I shipped the item or when the buyer pay for the item and shipping?

I used to ship International myself w/o eBay GSP help. Did it for years, always refunded the cost difference (postal overage) if it existed. The only two countries I worried about were Mexico & Russian Federation. I impressed you send 1st Class Package Int'l to Mexico. My luck has always been sour using that class shipping there (stuff never arrives) so I stopped using that class. Russian Federation same issue: stuff never arrives when buyer thinks it should be there if I use 1st Class Package Int'l and I wind up footing the bill. Even had Paypal & Ebay back me up on last claim but buyer's cc ruled. He got a free item at my expense. When covid happened and the two items I had enroute overseas fell off the radar screen for months (Priority Int'l) that was it. At my age my clairvoyance does not work worth a damn detailing to my concerned buyers where their stuff is after covid so eBay GSP here I am. Should've signed on sooner. My headache worry factor has declined considerably since doing that. No regrets.

I just sent a “Restricted” item to Kentucky. They caught that it was not allowed (my bad!). They reimbursed the buyer, I kept his payment, EBay kept the Merchandise. Thoughts?
