I have to say even though you are just putting spices into a bowl I still found this 7 minutes and 47 seconds to be so entertaining and the amount you make me laugh with the little jokes and puns makes even seasonings fun to watch! you are my favorite person to watch on youtube when it comes to recipes and food!

I bought a bag of berbere on Amazon just to compare it to my recipe. And I must say, toasting and grinding your own whole spices makes a world of difference.

Excellent video, John. I have a crap-ton (approximately) of berbere that I purchased in Portland, Oregon, because they didn't have a smaller container, and I've been thinking of things to do with it, aside from making doro wat. This is a great idea! Thanks!

If you like berbere try to make Doro Wat! Or any Wot/Wat recipe for that matter! Its an amazing chicken stew. I made it this week, still tasting it, don't know if thats a good thing though.
