That's not how gpt works. GPT does not have any reasoning. It's a huge sequence prediction model that predicts next word based on previous words. That's it. No reasoning, no abstract concepts, no understanding of anything. It's impressive though. Looks like it has consciousness, but it doesn't. It's a huge complicated function that generates output.

Some say that the end of programming is coming, but it is just to get the buzz going on IA companies and it is completely misleading. It will change the way we write programs, that's all.

It may be the end of programming but certainly not the end of computer science. Computer science isn't all about programming and AI.
