I kinda like that Zeus doesn't seem to actually want to kill Athena, she is, after all, his favorite daughter, and the way he catches her in the end before she falls really showcases that! I don't think I've seen any other artist do something like this, so kudos to you

I love that the solution is to essentially beg at Zeus' feet. Like, I'm sure Athena is being sincere when she does it, but I also bet a part of her realized that this was the way to convince him.

He's the most powerful and prideful. Even if she could beat him, he'd still deny her out of spite. But to throw herself at his feet, making him feel both satisfied of his superiority and sympathetic to his daughter's plight, is on point for Athena's genius.

I feel like with Hera not only being cheated on Constantly, ( like just add sex addict to his list of domains, )
but also her being literally the Goddess of MARRIAGE, the fact that Odysseus actually honors & respects his wedding vows really would be more then enough to earn him major favor with Hera

I like the end, with Zeus holding his daughter in his arms. It is a nice touch to show that while he is an asshole, he is still her father.

What a lot of people miss is that Zeus included himself as part of the gods that Athena has to convince. And by fighting to save her friend despite all that her father threw at her, she did just that.

I fuckin love these designs. Young hunk Zeus. Athena’s fully protected pristine armor with her hair covering her neck like an owl’s feathers and the wings under her eyes. Apollo with his halo and glowing “tattoos”. Hephaestus with his majestic Plato-esque beard. Aphrodite’s little “wings” in her hair. Ares’s broken Spartan helmet and hat wings and greatsword to contrast Athena’s owl wings and spear. Hera’s magnificent crown and comfy stay at home dress.
