Not having a stupid chance just to get the limited weapon when low rate is bad enough, the guaranteed actually incentivizes me to pull on the weapon banner even if I end up hitting pity and I don’t feel bad about it.
Coming from another game that had me hitting near pity twice and losing twice for that guaranteed. KuroGames just casually say “no scam here”.

After playing Wuwa, it's really tough to even consider spending money in ZZZ now. If I'm gonna spend money on a gacha then I rather put money on the one that guarantees more things I want over another 75/25 banner. Now I just need to erase the memory of me not getting Neuvillette's weapon on two different banners in Genshin out my mind lol.

Guaranteed weapon pity just makes sense, good on Kuro for implementing it 👌it guarantees a weapon pull and its also useable by many other units.
Makes playing other games that don't have a safety net when pulling feel very bad man.

well. i mean. im not. super mad bc encore is p good even if her third person talking is annoying. but like. this after getting a jianxin dupe on the standard banner earlier in the same day is definitely some not the best luck here
also i havent been pulling on the weapon banners that much so i didnt get stringmaster unfortunately so tbh im hoping yinlin is rerun soon just for that

Weapons in WuWa are overall flexible for other characters that make 4 star characters feel like 5 stars.

Wuwa not only makes the 5 star weapon good but usually there is one that will do pretty well for a majority of characters and they can be swapped in TOA. With no nightmare of a banner like Genshin this makes it more appealing for the majority of people who spend in the game to roll for weapons as well as characters. But let me be clear gatcha games are by no means cheap to pay to play regardless of how generous they appear to be.

Well said. As a Genshin vet, I was scared away from weapon banners ... because in Genshin they're basically a scam where you could end up with the limited 5* weapon for a character you don't even have and the 5* limited weapons tend to be pretty niche (with only a few exceptions like Homa, Mistsplitter, Aqua and Elegy). But in WuWa, not only are you guaranteed in 80 pulls, you can shares weapons across teams in the endgame and lots of weapons work well across players: (1) String Master is Yinlin's BIS, but it's also Encore's; (2) Jiyan's broadsword is his BIS (obviously), but it's also great for Calcharo and Jinhsi, (3) Changli's weapon is his BIS, and it's also Rover's best/second best weapon, and so on... So in WuWa, I am actually pulling for signature weapons as soon as they reruns, and Xiangli Yao's at first instance if I can earn him for free. It's optimal.

As an egergious whale for HSR, I can confidently say that spending money in Wuwa has been incredible. Even on Zhezhi banner I pulled her and her signature and I felt like I made my account 4x stronger without any hassle of guessing after winning 1 50-50 ONLY. I spend less and feel like I am rewarded more. Its so insane how good Wuwa's banner is compared to the ZZZ banners, especially weapons. Weapon banners in hoyo games just feel bad if you get unlucky. I know eagerly liok forward to next weapons abd characters

Tbh, I think Kuro didn't intend for Stringmaster to be so non specific to Yinlin.
Since the only part of stringmaster that used to be Yinlin specific was bonus atk when of field, but Zhezhi uses it as well now.
In my honest opinion majority of stringmaster's buff should have been ported to off-field bonus. Giving less atk in general for bonus Res. Skill dmg and higher atk bonus when off-field.
It would still keep it pretty generic, but not to the point where its insane on literally every Rectifier user.

Great examples of such signature weapon design is literally every other signature weapon in WuWa. Blazing Brilliance and Harvest are just generic enough to be good on almost any character of their weapon type, but just specific enough to not be 100% effective on those other units.
BBrilliance can be utilized by every sword character to a good value, but is only exquisitely good on Changli and Danjin, since every other sword user doesn't have quickly repeatable res. skil to stack it quickly or enough of their damage as Res. Skill to greatly benefit from its buff.

knowing i was guaranteed changlis weapon caused me to spend a bit to get the astrites needed to get it. if it wasnt guaranteed, i wouldnt of spent

Weapon banner in WuWa changes the whole gacha system. Guaranteed to get the featured weapon is amazing. Same goes to Reverse 1999, where player worried less on the weapon, since the weapon is obtainable through event and in-game shop, without spending a dime. I wasn't sure about other gacha games since I didn't play that much. Anyways, kudos to the developers for understanding their player base.

I love Wuwa's weapon banner so much! Because of the garontee i wont have to experience the Acheron problem 😭. WuWa has ruined all the other gotcha games for me now. In a way its good so at least i wont spend too much money lol 🤣. Hope they continue to make the weapons universal or at least useable to most 5 stars and thier classes

I'm currently half-regret for pulling Changli weapon max pity because now I'm broke af to pulls Xiangli Yao weapon and Shorekeeper lmao. But hey aesthetics >> efficiency 😂

In WuWa you can use standard 5-star weapons on all characters and beat all content, they are good enough + you will eventually get all of them as f2p. I pull limited weapons mainly for the look and to support KURO :) It's like buying a skin for me, you don't have any 50/50 instead you have extra chance to get it early or guaranteed at 80 pulls. Zhezhi's weapon looks majestic so i had to get it!
