can block out mining instead of blast mining be used to create the room a pillar mine ... then you get large chunks of usable material .. say like into granite or marble or perhaps canadian shield rock

Thank you for this explanation!
But, I think the idea for this method is to support the rock stress with Pillars, 1:02 and dont need the extra reinforcedment with bolts and Cement neitther..
