JMARS AR Viewer
Показать описание
The JMARS AR Viewer app lets you view custom planetary terrains from all angles in augmented reality as the full 3D topography is projected on floors, tables, or other surfaces. All free, with no ads (Links below). We encourage you to use this for scientific dissemination/education.
When scanned with a normal smartphone camera, scanning the QR code will lead the user to download the JMARS AR Viewer app.
When scanned with the JMARS AR Viewer app, scanning the QR code will load your custom prepared terrain.
JMARS supports hundreds of data layers captured by remote sensing instruments orbiting Earth, the Moon, Mars, Venus, Vesta, Ceres, and more! There are tools for annotation, vertical exaggeration, layer blending, and much more, all of which will appear on your AR terrain.
Some use cases:
1) Put a QR code on your poster when presenting about your topographic features at a conference (or when you hang your poster up in the department hallway).
2) Create immersive lesson plans around planetary geology and/or remote sensing, letting students see the data from different angles. Great for remote education.
3) Attach a QR code to your article/blog/website to let readers view coverage of the point of interest
